What’s been happening:

Being a graduate of Penn State is one of the ways in which I define myself. "Penn State Proud" is not just a saying. Living in Texas as I do, one might imagine that there is not much sympathy for this Yankee from "up there in Pennsylvania". Yet I proudly wear Penn State tee shirts and other clothing, display the Penn State logo on both cars and follow Penn State sports as much as I can. My dad graduated in 1925. Early in JoPa's career, he introduced me to Joe. So, it is with more Penn State Pride that I display a picture with him when my wife (Beverly--also a '58 grad) and I were inducted into The Mount Nittany Society. Yes, it's a long way from Texas to Pennsylvania and that makes getting there difficult. Yet, part of me will remain there.
